Top 100 Brazilian Companies by CAPEX and China-Brazil M&A Ranking (2025)

Which Brazilian companies are investing the most in growth and expansion?

To answer this question, ISI EMIS compiled and analyzed data from the 2025 annual financial statements filed with the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) to create a ranking of the Top 100 Brazilian companies by CAPEX (Capital Expenditure).

The study highlights the companies leading corporate investment in Brazil, making it a valuable resource for professionals in market research, market analysis, market intelligence, as well as investors, consulting firms, and commercial teams monitoring industry trends, business opportunities, and growth strategies.

In addition to the CAPEX ranking, the file includes the main mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions announced since the beginning of 2025 in which the buyer or investor is a Chinese company and the target is a Brazilian entity. This analysis enables readers to track investment flows between China and Brazil, identify sectors attracting foreign capital, and understand key trends shaping the corporate landscape.

The ranking methodology primarily considers consolidated financial statements. When a company publishes both standalone and consolidated financial statements, the CAPEX value reported in the consolidated version is used, ensuring a more comprehensive view of investments made by the economic group.
