The equity portion of the deal amounts to SGD 6.6bn (USD 5.2bn). Post-transaction, KKR will hold 75% and Singtel 25%. The acquisition builds on a prior SGD 1.75bn investment and aims to capitalize on surging demand for AI and cloud infrastructure, strengthening Singtel’s digital infrastructure strategy and reinforcing KKR’s exposure to high-growth, recurring-revenue data center assets.
